Al Salam Bank-Bahrain announces distribution of dividends 2016

​​The Board of Directors of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain is pleased to inform the shareholders that the dividend cheques will be ready for collection as of Sunday 19th March 2017. Shareholders who were registered in the shareholding registry by end of trading date 8th March 2017 (settlement date 12th March 2017) are eligible to receive the dividends and are requested to contact the Bank’s registrar Karvy Computershare at the address shown below to receive their dividends for the year ended 31 December 2016.

The shareholders have approved during the Annual General Ordinary Meeting held on 8 March 2017 on the Distribution of dividends of 5 fils per share or 5% of the paid up share capital.

Requirements to receive the dividends:

  1. In case a shareholder is collecting the dividends in person, the shareholder should present a copy of his/her valid ID or passport.
  2. In case of a proxy, copies of the ID or the passport of both the proxy and the shareholder should be presented.

Shareholders, whose dividends are not less than BD100 and wish to have their dividends transferred directly to their bank accounts by Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, can fill the Dividends Transfer Application Form and send it to the registrars at the address mentioned above.To download a copy of the Dividends Transfer Request form, please click HERE.

Shareholders registered at Dubai Financial Market (DFM)
Dividends will be distributed to the shareholders registered at Dubai Financial Market as per the payment mode registered with the Market (iVestor or Bank transfer).Shareholders who wish to collect their dividends in BD can contact the registrar not later than 13 March 2017.
