On the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day and in line with the continuous commitment of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain to its social responsibility in the community in general and in support for the advancement of Bahraini women in particular, the Bank extended its annual support to the Supreme Council for Women in celebration of Bahraini Women's Day which was held on 3 December at the Manama Municipality building under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
On his part, Mr. Anwar Murad - Deputy CEO of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain praised the efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women that aim to bolster the role of the Bahraini Woman and give her equal opportunity to build a sustainable society in various sectors.
Mr. Anwar Murad also emphasized that we are celebrating this occasion in recognition of our female staff for their significant contributions towards laying the foundations for building this strong institution.
It is worth mentioning that every year the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates on 1 December a special occasion of "Bahraini Women's Day" as an important national event by all public and private institutions in recognition to Bahraini women’s vital role and active participation in various sectors within the Kingdom.
